Importance of Stainless Steel Flow Meters for Food & Drink Products

Due to the high quality 316 stainless steel construction, it has become suitable for monitoring and measuring the flow of several gases and liquids. They are effective enough for aggressive media and to use in food and drink applications. Stainless steel flow meters can be found with Tri-Clamp or hygienic connections.

Such flow meters work on the diverse area principal and use a float that is directed in a cylindrical for determining tube by ways of a slotted nozzle. In order to make food and drink products hygienic and safe to consume, such flow meters play a crucial role. They are demanded all across the globe extensively by people and used for various purposes.

The flow medium transfers the float in the direction of flow. There is a mounted pointer indicator magnetically coupled to indicate the flow rate against the arbitrary or calibrated scale. This indicator also houses tantalizer, analog output and houses optional alarm outputs.

The DS25 is offered with 316 stainless steel wetted components which can be PTFE coated for advanced media applications. These pipe sizes are available in 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1-1/4, 1 1/2, 2, 3, 4 and 6 inch. You can find various options for stainless steel flow meters with a little search as there are number of manufactures and suppliers offer them at reasonable prices.

Pressure rating is commonly 1450 or 580 PSIG with high pressure ratings. Its options are steam jacketing for temperature control, analog and alarm outputs, temperature isolation of electronics for the applications with high temperature, oxygen cleaning, and explosion-proof model.
